Inaugural Wood Shots Badminton Challenge

The Wood Shots Badminton Club (WSBC) is excited to be holding its Inaugural Badminton Tournament on Saturday, August 29th, 2009 at the San Gabriel Valley Badminton Club.

The Badminton Challenge is our primary fundraiser of the year. We need your support to realize our goals and for our continued success. All funds raised will go directly to the cost of running the organization's youth badminton camp (e.g., equipment, facility/court fees, uniforms, coaches, etc.) and other charitable works.

Wood Shot

Shot that results when the base of the shuttle is hit by the frame of the racket. Once illegal, this shot was ruled acceptable by the International Badminton Federation in 1963.
